[Minister of Information Meeting]

On July 26, 2024, Phnom Penh - His Excellency Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information, welcomed a delegation of investors from the Republic of Korea who came to explore the main potential for investment in Cambodia in the fields of technology, science, and electronics. His Excellency made this remark on the occasion of allowing a delegation of investors from the Republic of Korea to pay a courtesy call and discuss work led by Mr. Park Bong-gyu on the afternoon of July 26, 2024, at the Ministry of Information. Mr. Park Bong-gyu informed that the purpose is to study and explore the potential of Cambodia to consider investment related to technology, science, and electronics.

On that occasion, His Excellency Neth Pheaktra gave a short presentation on the potential of the Kingdom of Cambodia in terms of human resources, industry, agriculture, job creation opportunities, and investment opportunities in various sectors in Cambodia. Mr. Park Bong-gyu said that the ROK delegation of investors intends to cooperate with the Ministry of Information to organize a large conference to exchange experiences and bring investors from the Republic of Korea to visit and explore the main potential for investing in Cambodia.

The Minister of Information highlighted the cooperation and coordination with relevant ministries and institutions, including the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Mines and Energy, as an important part of dealing with investors.
