The 'Asia Digital Asset Exchange Alliance (ADEA)' was launched during 'Blockchain Week in Busan (BWB) 2024'.

According to the Busan Digital Asset Exchange, ADEA was established to foster practical cooperation among digital asset exchanges worldwide, aiming to strengthen the digital asset ecosystem, enhance global competitiveness, expand markets, jointly address regulatory challenges, and share information, technology, and operational expertise to protect customers and promote exchange growth.

ADEA consists of major digital asset exchanges from each country. Initial members include Busan Digital Asset Exchange, Japan's Osaka Digital Asset Exchange (ODX), Singapore's ADDX, Malaysia's GreenX, Thailand's TokenX, and Cambodia's Mekong Digital Asset Exchange (MKEX). Representatives attending BWB2024 expressed their expectations for ADEA.

CEO Sang-min Kim of Busan Digital Asset Exchange said, "I am grateful to announce Busan Digital Asset Exchange along with the Asia's representative exchange alliance at BWB2024," adding, "We will do our utmost to achieve blockchain integration into daily life and industry innovation by collaborating with well-established overseas exchanges."

CEO Mikazuki Kimio of Japan's ODX stated, "Japan's blockchain ecosystem is rapidly growing within the regulatory framework. I hope to provide and receive practical support to mutually grow by sharing experiences and expertise with ADEA exchanges."

CFO and Co-founder In-moo Hwang of Singapore's ADDX commented, "ADDX has worked toward democratizing the private market and enhancing investment fairness by streamlining issuance, custody, and distribution of market products. We look forward to broad cooperation with exchanges in each country, including in RWA (Risk-Weighted Assets), to expand the market, increase customer benefits, and support each exchange's sustainable growth."

CXO Phillip Tam of Malaysia's GreenX remarked, "As the first Sharia-compliant digital asset exchange, GreenX is reaching Islamic markets from Indonesia to the Middle East with Sharia-compliant RWA products. Joining ADEA offers significant opportunities not only for 190 million Muslims but also for alliance member exchanges."

CEO Jittinun Chatsihrat of Thailand's Token X expressed, "Token X has focused on the tokenization and digitization of real assets within Thailand's Web3.0 ecosystem, and we are pleased to collaborate with exchanges in other countries sharing the same goal. We will effectively share our long-standing experience in regulated transactions with ADEA member exchanges, including Busan Digital Asset Exchange."

Chairwoman Grace Lee of Cambodia's Mekong Digital Asset Exchange (MKEX) stated, "Joining ADEA is the most welcoming news and opportunity since receiving approval from Cambodia's securities authority," adding, "I expect that this alliance will greatly benefit the digital asset market in Cambodia and across Asia."
